Hybrid Interval Timer Privacy Policy

Hybrid Interval Timer is a Garmin Connect IQ watch app for AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, and For Time workouts. The app is designed to run on the watch without an account, server, companion phone service, or internet access.

Data handled by the app

The app may handle the following data on the Garmin watch:

• Selected workout mode and timer settings during a session.
• Completed rounds and elapsed time.
• Heart-rate, calories, and activity metrics provided by the Garmin device during activity recording.
• A small local recent-summary list stored on the watch.

Data sharing

Hybrid Interval Timer does not send data to an external server, does not sell user data, and does not include third-party analytics or advertising.

Garmin Connect activities

When the user chooses Save after a workout, the app can save a Garmin FIT activity. Garmin Connect handling of saved activities is governed by Garmin's own privacy terms. The user can choose Discard instead of saving the completed session.

Network access

The first release of Hybrid Interval Timer does not request Connect IQ internet communication permissions.
